In the midst of the booming Berlin-Southeast corridor, in Oberschöneweide, lies Wilhelmine. The Trockland project encompasses around 7,500 m² of total rental space, located in close proximity to the University of Applied Sciences Berlin (HTW), the Behrens-Ufer, and within walking distance of the Spree River. The walls of the listed building ensemble still exude the magical energy of a long-standing social and cultural life. Wilhelmine is now reconnecting with this significance as a place for people, and through careful renovation, it is gaining new and versatile possibilities for collaboration, innovation, and creativity.

Vision
Wilhelmine is set back slightly from the street, creating attractive spaces for gastronomy and social interaction in the spacious entrance area. New light is being brought to the cultural center: the large, historic windows are being reopened. The main beneficiary is the centerpiece—a 500 m² hall that will come to life again with the influx of natural light. The entire roof structure will also be fitted with windows at the rear. A protected atrium with a walkable rooftop garden will become a tranquil oasis, and a rooftop terrace will offer a space for reflection and expansive views. Wilhelmine will soon provide ample light and space for a modern work-life balance.
